My Husband Is 60 Years Old, High Blood Pressure And

my husband is 60 years old, high blood pressure and cholesterol well controlled. Since last summer has had issues with headaches. Starts as dull pain (a 6 on a scale of 1-10) and never really goes away. When at it's worst, he will get a sharp stabbing pain on right side of head near his temple and pain goes to a 10 or more. At one point his right eye became suddenly bloodshot and teared up. That lasted about 10 minutes and then was fine. He has some minor trembling in right hand, missed steps a few times (but that could be due to over all bad balance and ankles issues), said he's making mistakes at work and feels confused. I would say out of 7 days, this happens at least 5. We finally got an apt with a headache doctor May 25. His primary care doctor saw him during a routing examine and sent him for a sinus scan which was fine. Then he said it was probably migraines. Migraine meds did not help
