My Husband Is Diabetic And High Blood Pressure W/copd. He

my husband is diabetic and high blood pressure w/copd. he needs some antibiotics for the coughs that he has w/a lots of mucus or phlegm mucus I bought for him a tussin specially for diabetics people. he also have some doxycycline monohydrate pills left from last time he has an infection. can he continue to take this for his congested chest and cough? we are in a snow storm now and I can't take him out on this horrible weather. please help me. thank you!
