My Husband Is Having Flu Like Symptoms Along With Pain

my husband is having flu like symptoms along with pain in his lower abdomin and lower back. he is in sever pain when he coughs. I am wondering if I should take him to the hospital since he also suffers from high blood pressure and I cannot take him to his primary until tuesday.
