My Husband Started Having Diarrhea After Taking A Flu Shot

my husband started having diarrhea after taking a flu shot at work, after a month he went to the dr she had him send a stool sample in and it came back saying he had an infection which is usually related to visiting in hospital but he had not been to a hospital to visit. She gave him meds and told him to take probotics. That was in sept. this is march, still having diarrhea and told me he had been bleeding for about a year he thought it would get better but is getting worse.
