My Husband Was Admitted To The Hospital On Sunday Night

my husband was admitted to the hospital on Sunday night with a severe soar throat and it is tender to the touch with swelling. The did a CT scan and found a mass of tissue swelled by his c4. They have given him iv antibiotics since Sunday night and nothing is getting better. Do you have any suggestons?
