My Husband Was Exposed To Concert Mix& Lye...he Got It

husband was exposed to concert mix& lye...he got it on his skin in serval places including under his arm pit! hes the type that wont go to the doctor...so I'm wondering what I can do to treat him at home? He has been on this job for a week now and for like 3 or 4 days was running fever & feeling very bad. Now he has a lot of pain coming from the places where he got it on his skin.
