My Jaw Hurts To Close My Mouth With My Teeth

my jaw hurts to close my mouth with my teeth touching. It is on my left side. It has been hurting since about 2p.m. . I just got off of work aroung 10;30 and it feels a little swollen and my ear is now hurting a little. I checked my b/p with my mothers smartheart b/p machine, and it registered 145/108 no other symptoms. I have pcos and do not sleep well at night.
