My.. Jugular Notch On The Bottom Part Of My Front

my.. jugular notch on the bottom part of my front neck has been getting more and more uncomfortable and sometimes painful. I've had it in the past but thought it was due to hunger or something but when i asked my doctor they had no answer and did'nt even talk to me about possibilities. it now feels constantly uncomfortable and as if someones pushing in on it.
