My Left Leg Keeps Giving Out . It Started Three

my left leg keeps giving out . It started three days ago. I was just standing up from sitting and knee gave out 5 times within an hour. The pain was awful every time I'd get up ,walked or sat for the next couple days . But knee did not give out. Today, the pain is not too bad but the knee has been giving out all day. What's going on
