My Mom (91, Healthy Mind And Has Gotten Around Without

my mom (91, healthy mind and has gotten around without a walker) has liquid in her abdomen and just today has trouble keeping food down. She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 2 weeks ago. What is usually the physical symptoms at this stage? What is more/less the timeline? I know it's tough to say, but after the vomiting today, there should be an idea of how long. Why it is important, is that I was in last week and I will being going back soon , but need to know if it should be even sooner to go back, Thanks
