My Mom Has A Severe Itch All Over Her Body.

my mom has a severe itch all over her body. She is 78 years old and scratches herself till she bleeds. The doctor suggested Candid B cream which we have been applying along with olive oil twice a day for the last 3 weeks. The itching has reduced but not gone. He has advised meeting a dermatologist. Is there any other ointment i can try before taking her to a dermatologist. Would Lobate GM help@
