My Mom Was Taking 75 Mg Metroplol 2 Times A

my mom was taking 75 mg metroplol 2 times a day, am and pm.
her cardiologist reduced the dose to 50 mg twice a day, am and pm. i refilled my mom's script today and they changed the strength of each pill. this morning i gave her one and this evening i gave her one. i just checked and each pill is only 25 mg. so she has had a total of 50 mg today. should i give her another 25 mg now/
