My Mother (88 Year Old) Has Been Scheduled For A

my mother (88 year old) has been scheduled for a chemically induced stress test. She is feeling well and has not complained of any symptoms or discomfort. She is taking heart medication, she is diabetic and has high blood pressure. She has never had a stress test before. Is this warranted and safe?
