My Mother Has A-fib. She Takes 25 Mg? Metoerol X

my mother has a-fib. she takes 25 mg? metoerol x 2 per day. She has a been taking sinus & allergy/asthma meds for chronic sinus Asthma lately. her pulse is 115 and bp is 135/88. she wants to know if she should take half of metoperal to slow pulse down? I dont know what to tell her?
