My Mother Has Emphasyma And Has Had Flu Like Symptoms

my mother has emphasyma and has had flu like symptoms for over two weeks..she cant keep anything in..either she vomits or has diarrhea..she is on oxygen and medication for this illness..i have been giving her light foods..crackers..water..Gatorade..7up and such..i also have administerd suppositories accompanied with haloperidol as prescribed by her hospice nurse and primary doctor but she continues to feel weak, diarrhea and occasional vomit which is clear..she is on oxygen and other meds for her emphasyme..what would be the best remedy to stop the flu like symptoms..her hospice nurse and primary doc has been here within the last week..what can I do for my mom..thx from devoted son
