My Mother In Law Suffered Some Kind Of Stroke But

my mother in law suffered some kind of stroke but did not tell anyone until many hours later. We finally got her to a hospital ( very stubborn woman) they did a cat scan and wanted to keep her overnight for observation which she would not allow and she went home is this normal to be sent home? and they said to see a doctor next week is this safe? she lives alone and will not let us stay with her
