My Mother Is 89yrs Old,she Has Dementia,recently She Was Operated

my mother is 89yrs old,she has dementia,recently she was operated for her hip fracture.her creatinine is 2.9 and urea is 134. we could not control her because of her stubborn nature wanting to go to the bathroom.doctor has advised .5mg epitril and a max upto 2mg in a day.but this is not helping.her both kidneys are in bad shape.what is the right medicine to keep her calm as she goes on talking through the night.
