My Mother Is 93 And Been Advised By A Doctor

my mother is 93 and been advised by a doctor to take Sertraline to lighten her moods-but to me the side affects and withdrawal symtoms of these tables are dreadful..she is already addicted to oxazapan and been on those since 1981 when my father died. do you think she would really benefit from taking these?
