My Mother Is An Active 75 Year Old Woman. She

my mother is an active 75 year old woman. She started having trouble about 3 months ago with symptoms such as: panting/breathing, having to force words out to talk, feeling like her throat is closing, weak, no energy, and the more she tries to talk the worse she feels from the waist up to her throat. What could this be? Please help.....
