My Mother She Is 57 Years Old Her Both Knees

my mother she is 57 years old her both knees are getting too much pain and swelling is there. there is gap between knees. what shuold be treatment given to her and any good pain killer and some medicine to reduce her swelling as she can walk but with too much pain
