My Mother Who Is 72 Was Pescribed Amlodipine 8 Days

my mother who is 72 was pescribed amlodipine 8 days ago for high blood pressure ( 200/84 ) has in the last two days been complaining about flushed cheeks and burning face.. and today its the same but she feels red hot as well ( she explained it felt like she had a fever ) . should she not take tonights tablet or tommorows until she can talk to the doctor on monday? or should she carry on taking the tablet tonight etc?
