My Pain Is In The Back Of My Left Knee

my pain is in the back of my left knee it was sudden one minute I was walking I went into my car to drive and got out of my car and couldnt even put pressure on my foot. Walking on my tipie toes was ok not as painful. Did I pull a muscle, knee is not swollen only the back of knee hurt into my calf.
