My Right Breast Has Became Real Sore For About 2

my right breast has became real sore for about 2 weeks. I think I can feel a knot but I convinced myself I was feeling a stretch mark. I got my husband to feel and he think he feels a knot. I have been having mammograms since I was 35 and I am 42 because my grandma on my dad side had a double mastectomy. I had a hysterectomy when I was 28. My question is should I just wait and see if it gets better or go ahead and get it checked out?
