My Sister Has Had Pain In Her Left Side Down

my sister has had pain in her left side down low for about a month today after she had her bowel movement when she wiped there was bright red blood and then when she urinated a little while ago when she wiped it was bloody as well. What could it be and should she see her Obgyn?
