My Sister Is 45 Years Old And Last Night She

my sister is 45 years old and last night she started having problems with her left ear. It is swollen almost double in size, warn to the touch today but last night it was hot and red. It is also hard, not soft. She wears a hearing aid but she knows it isn't from that; there are no visible symptoms observed where it comes in contact with the ear. She does have a dry skin condition that she always deals with but she has never had this happen to her. Her temp was 99.5 last night when she went to urgent care. They said it looked like contact dermatitis. She took a benadryl last night and it helped her sleep but that was all. It hurts to the touch and also hurts directly under her ear along the neck.
