My Six Year Old Had A Fever 101+ Fatigue Loss

my six year old had a fever 101+ fatigue loss of appetite deep cough very quiet, pain in chest for a day or two, her pediatrician checked and said it was a viral infection. How long can that last, she's still very fatigued and has the cough. She's generally pretty healthy and extremely active, almost hyper. Thanks
