My Son Came Home From School Today And He Has

my son came home from school today and he has a very hard large lump on his face on the lower jaw close to his chin ... i am not aware of what it is i was thinking it may be a bite of some type but he says its doesn't hurt unless u touch it it doesn't hurt to talk or chew or anything like that what is this ?
