My Son Had A Splenectomy In 2010. As His Platelet
my son had a splenectomy in 2010.
As his platelet counts were approx 12 lac post surgery, he was advised Ecosprin 75.
He has also been given 3 Pneumococcal vaccine, 1st pre operation/ 2nd post operation and 3rd in 2012.
Now his platelet count is 9 Lac.
I have 2 questions -
1. Should we stop Ecosprin 75 now ?
2. if and when should we give him next Pneumococcal vaccine..
