My Son Is 24 And My Sister Suggested Recently That

my son is 24 and my sister suggested recently that maybe he has high functioning Asperger syndrome. He has been shy his entire life and i have made excuses for him as such but he is very quiet and anti social. Many think he is rude but i know he is not. Is there a way to find out ?
