My Son Was Ejected In A Vehicle Accident Saturday Evening.

my son was ejected in a vehicle accident Saturday evening. when arriving at local hospital they said CT scan showed a broken neck that was dangerously close to his main artery in his neck. They also say he had a crushed vertebra in his back. They life flighted him to a bigger hospital. Apon arriving there he saw an ER Dr. we waited 13 hours to see a Neurologist. While waiting the nurses were persistent that if he move wrong he could have paralysis or it could get the artery. When the neurologist came in he basically said we will keep him in a neck brace and see him in 2 weeks and sent him home with hydrocodone. We are so confused as to why such the discrepancy and if we should get him a second opinion. He is a lot of pain. I believe it was the C4 vertebrae in his neck
