My Teenage Daughter Has Had A Persistent Cough For Several

my teenage daughter has had a persistent cough for several days. she had cold symptoms, but they stopped a couple of days ago. her throat isn't sore and she doesn't have a fever, but she can't stop coughing. cough drops and tea with honey doesn't help. any ideas?
