My Thumb Is Swollen At The Joints...the Swelling Is So

my thumb is swollen at the joints...the swelling is so bad that my thumb is turning the other way...there is pain on both sides of my thumb..The joint at the knuckle is swollen more on the left side..also the joint that connects my thumb to my hand is swollen worst on the left side..it looks like rocks on the left side of my thumb...What is wrong with my thumb ?
