My Tooth Deteriorated And Broke Leaving The Root Behind, I

my tooth deteriorated and broke leaving the root behind, I have an appointment to have it removed, I have no pain but I know infection is present because of the bad smell/taste from the hole. I have never been prone to acne but in the last three weeks I have erupted in painful red bumps and whiteheads all over, especially around my chin. Are the eruptions related to my infected tooth? If so hoe do I get rid of them. btw I am 45 years old.
