My Wife Drank Alcohol For Years, drunk Maybe 80% Of Her

my wife drank alcohol for years, drunk maybe 80% of her waking hours. On dec 31st 2014 she had acl surgery on one knee. Since the surgery she hardly drinks, and has not been drunk in over a year. She has become a casual drinker with no cravings or slipups at all. She is 45 years old and now is having hormone issues and has had a prolapsed uterus. All of this sounds like standard menopause stuff I think. Here's where it gets a little strange, she hardly sleeps and has developed what I call adhd--ocd We can't go anywhere because it takes 3 hours just to get her out the door.Keeps finding one more thing to do. was no this way until stopping drinking. Could the alcohol have been treating an underlying condition?
