My Wife Had A-fib And Is Being Treated With Metoprolol

my wife had a-fib and is being treated with metoprolol 150mg once daily.

her heartbeat has returned to normal and she has been stable for 5 weeks. she is also on Pradaxa. the cardiologist wants to add amiodarone 200mg once per day. Is that going to put her at risk for a return to a-fib?
