My Wife Has Been Coughing, Has A Raspy Voice Voice,

my wife has been coughing, has a raspy voice voice, and is constantly blowing her nose(slightly yellowish green). this started last saturday. we went to my pulmonary doctor on tuesday, 6/9. he said it was allergies and told her to take fluticasone propionate nasal spray 50mcg, 2 sprays in each nostril every morning. she doesn't seem to be any better. we were thinking of going to our ent dr. any advice??
