My Wife Has Been On Rivastigmine For 8 Years Now...she

my wife has been on Rivastigmine for 8 years now...she is functioning well, but still has short term memory issues...she was on 9.5, highest dosage, one year ago changed to 4.6, no change in anything...today going to doctor, can I suggest she get off of it...she takes supplements which i feel are better, this Rivastigmine does nothing for her (she has no side effects)...do you think ok to take her off?
