My Wife Walked In The Emergency Rom With Stroke Simptoms,

my wife walked in the emergency rom with stroke simptoms, after many test later,i was told she had a mild stroke, ok slered speech, cant walk on her on, but she was ok, that was 2 months ago. now she cant walk, talk, move her arms or legs and the the docs tell me she will always be like this, and we should put her in a nursing home, how does this happen to a woman thats 44 years old
