My Wife Woke Up At 2am With A Sharp Pain

my wife woke up at 2am with a sharp pain in her pelvic region.
doctors concluded after 2.5 days of monitoring that it was constipation...I dont think so...not the way she was crying. we had an ultrasound and CT scan...all they thought it was slightly swollen appendix. My wife says the pain first came from nowhere then it would reoccur after urination. After being admitted she was placed on liquid diet and began to feel less agonizing pain. she now has no severe pain after urination but she tells me that the ache/pain is still there.
