My Wrist And The Top Of My Hand Hurt When

my wrist and the top of my hand hurt when i bend my wrist back, so does the muscle by my thumb on the inside of my hand and i dont know of anything i could have done to it and it is also swollen on the top of my hand where it meets my wrist and where my thumb attaches
