Ok I Am Goin To A Water Park / Theme

ok i am goin to a water park / theme park with my school and i will be on my period i don't know if it will be light or not but I will be stay at the water park for 6 hours so i was wondering if its ok to wear a tampon while on water slides and on roller coasters & should I change the tampon because i know it last for at least to 4 to 8 hours for a tampon to be in the Vigina ?
