Onset Of Extreme Foot Itching, Enough To Almost Drive My

onset of extreme foot itching, enough to almost drive my wife crazy. Used an Emu foot creme yesterday, feet itched a little bit all day but tonight after a shower she almost had a panic attack from extreme itching. Never seen her like that. Any ideas? I applied Lidocane 5% very liberally and it is easing off a bit.
