Over 1 Yr. Ago (after Being Very Stable On Norvasc

over 1 yr. ago (after being very stable on Norvasc for 10 yrs.) I was bitten by some insect and had POTS Dx. that improved for a while on Verapamil & Lisinapril, but then my BP started looking like an earthquake, up to 200 syst. at time I took AM med & within 2-3 hrs. dropped 70-80 pts. I was sent to a 2nd cardio. who sent me to Mayo who decided I needed to see a neurologist (I could see one in 4 months & still waiting. I was taken off Verapamil & changed to Coreg & Lisin. 5mg. My 2nd Cardio handed me over to a 3rd Cardio (to see in a month). I was in the ED with a BP of 80/44. Right now I have no Dr. and in the last 3 days my syst. has gone up to 217 & I decided to increase my Lisin. to 10 mg. Then my syst. over 30 min. dropped 90 pts. I'm still waiting to see the 3rd Cardio next week & hope to hear from a Neuro in Albuquerque (close to home) who have now been reviewing my Hx for 6 wks. I'm a NP & looked up NeuroCardiologist which led me to the Clonidine site. Do you have any ideas? Help! Phyllis email is YYYY@YYYY
