Recently I Was Diagnosed With Colitis And At The Same

recently i was diagnosed with colitis and at the same time a hernia at the hospital. i was treated with cipro an another antibiotic. i had surgery for the hernia. its been almost 2 weeks that i was treated. at first i had diarrea all night long and it persisted over this timeframe. my doctor told me to take immodium which i did for about 3 days. i am still having bowel movements which are very soft and appear to be slimy numerous times of the day and night. do you think i should be taking more antibiotics i do not have a fever
