Sis And Myself Got Back From Mazatlan After A 2

sis and myself got back from Mazatlan after a 2 week stay and got a horrible cough and next thing I know we both cannot breathe (it catches us when we fall asleep) wake up choking..not able to inhale or exhale..what did we get..a virus, bacterial..something on plane as 8 people were hacking already.
