So My Husband Recently Diagnosed With A -fibs. Cardioversion Didnt

so my husband recently diagnosed with a -fibs. cardioversion didnt work. they dont want to do ablation. also on blood thinner.(he just turned 65) and now on topropl, 50 mgs down from 100, and off digoxin. the toprol is making him anxious, unsure of himself , depressed, either tired or cant sleep. shrink just put him on 30 mgs of abilify-took all of two doses and couldn't work the whole day. unsure of himself, stressed . now sleeping before we are supposed to babysit grands
are there other meds in place of toprol, and i know, ask the cardio dr. but I'm getting nervous. so NOT like him.
