Sometimes When I Pop A Pimple Near My Eye Or

sometimes when i pop a pimple near my eye or nasal labial folds, my eye, usually my left, will swell significantly. This isn't one infection or one cysts, but has happened maybe half a dozen times over the years. Is this an underlying chronic condition or one that just happens sometimes when you pop a pimple on the upper part of your face? BTW _ I have RA, and hypothyroid (synthroid).
