Somewhat Frequently When I Swallow Food It Gets Stuck Part

somewhat frequently when I swallow food it gets stuck part way down and I cant get it to move until I force a drink of water down then throat releases and it is okay but I have had this for a few years now and it scares me when the food won't go down normallly
