Can I take penicillin vk to treat bacterial vaginosis?

Hello I was wondering if I could take penicillin vk to treat my bacterial vaginosis? I read that penicillin vk may attack the wrong bacteria and cause a yeast infection..another problem I do not want. I have some penicillin vk left that is still good and I'd rather take it today than wait three days to see a doctor for clindamycin or metronidazole, etc.
