Suddenly Today As I Was Walking A Pain Developed Along

suddenly today as I was walking a pain developed along the top of my big toe. I seemed to be following the tendon or connective tissue at the second joint. If I take off my shoe and walk barefoot it hurts less but is tender to touch. Extreme pain not just sore.
